Description
Awarded First Place in a contest for visually impaired artists in July, 2020 by the American Printing House for the Blind. One spring day Mourning Doves made a nest in a flower pot on my deck and hatched baby doves. I painted the papa dove sitting on the egggs (they take turns) in my fantasy garden deck. The actual fake nest and fake eggs are glued on the canvas. The creation is complete with the sun painted on a ceramic bottle stop in the sky.
