Description
Always enjoying sherry wine, naturally I had to go to its birthplace, the town of Jerez in Andalusia, Spain, "Jerez" is the name of sherry wine in Spanish, named after the town. The process of aging sherry, solera, was developed here in the 1800's. When the British discovered it shortly afterwords, sherry became.famous as the aperitif of choice, not only for the Brits but throughout the planet. Kenlynn Schroeder took this photo of one of the earliest sherry-aging establishments in Jerez.
