On one of my latest trips to Belgium, I went early to the huge main square in Brussels, the Grand-Place, to get a seat for the evening concert. I arrived very early, in fact 2 hours early, so I had time to sketch some of the most ornate highest parts of the guild halls surrounding the square. Here is the first in my series of four.
