Description
My painting reflects many magical experiences in this formal garden at Hotel Palazzo Ravizza in Siena, Italy. Two ancient stone lions guard the entrance to the garden. A fountain splashes on water lilies and brightly-colored fish in the pond below. Benches and small tables beckon to sit and enjoy refreshments in many places in the garden...shared with the friendly resident turtle by the tree. The vista from over the wall encompasses the vast landscape with cypress trees and distant mountains at the edge of the sea. Simply magical!
